7th edition of the Ouaouzguite Carpet Festival

The seventh edition of the Ouaouzguit Carpet Festival will be held in Taznakht, from 20 to 24 November 2024, under the theme: "The Ouaouzguit carpet between tourist valorisation and socio-economic empowerment of the weaving woman".

About the event:

The Ouaouzguite carpet is a key element of traditional production in the Moroccan textile sector in general; it is also a cultural symbol of the Drâa-Tafilalet region and of Morocco. Universally recognised for its unique design, it combines the spirit of authenticity with contemporary requirements, with artistic motifs, superior quality, and remarkable aesthetic dimensions.
